Old Songs of a Renew

It was when I was about seven or eight years old that I discovered the music of Bruce Hornsby, thanks to my father. I was immediately captivated by his piano playing, which I had never heard before, and it has stayed with me throughout my life as a musician and improviser. It was also through him that I discovered bluegrass, folk, and country, including their FM rock versions.

This album is both a tribute to all those sweltering afternoons I spent in my hometown of Vantoux, the countryside near the city, and to my childhood, from which I draw a happy nostalgia that I share with you here. All of this began as just piano pieces that I decided to produce entirely myself. I hope you enjoy the album as much as I enjoyed recording it.
